The Effects of Self-leadership of Workers at Welfare Facilities for the Elderly on Job Performance

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of self-leadership of workers at welfare facilities for the elderly on job performance. The study was conducted with 180 workers at welfare facilities located in OO city, Gyeongbuk province, Korea. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted using the SPSS program. The results of this study are as follows: Self-leadership of workers at welfare facilities for the elderly did not have significant effect on job performance. This implies that the self-leadership of the workers at welfare facilities for the elderly has no effect on their job performance. This study aims to become foundational data in developing educational programs for the improvement of positive psychology of workers at welfare facilities for the elderly.
